Mobile Branches
Societe Generale has set up "mobile branches" to offer new access channels to its customers.
During the first quarter of 2016, Société Générale Burkina Faso deployed, as part of an experiment, its mobile branches in Ouagadougou and in various provincial cities (Koudougou, Dédougou, Bobo Dioulasso): two vehicles act as agencies and meet new customers directly in the field.
Mobile branches offer the same services as traditional branches. They are equipped with a satellite antenna allowing access to the network via the headquarters, ATMs, laptops equipped with cameras and multifunction printers.
First deployed in Burkina Faso - where it has enabled Société Générale Burkina Faso to acquire new customers and enhance its multichannel device integrating off-site DABs powered by solar energy - mobile agencies are also available in Cameroon, Senegal and Ghana.
