Societe Generale supports Ambition Africa 2019 Forum, on 30 and 31 October 2019.

Societe Generale is supporting once more the Ambition Africa 2019 forum placed under the high patronage of the President Emmanuel Macron and taking place on October 30th and 31st at the Ministry of the Economy and Finance.

This unmissable entrepreneurial event, in which 38 African countries will participate, will bring together French and African economic actors, both public and private, committed to the development of the African continent and the acceleration of trade relations between France and Africa.

Over 1000 people are expected to attend round-tables, public speaking and thematic workshops about the support for urban mobility, the energetic mix in Africa and the place of women as new leaders of the continent.

Philippe Heim, Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of International Retail Banking activities, Financial Services and Insurance, will discuss the topic "Africa: it's now". Cathia Lawson-Hall, Head of coverage & Investment Banking for Africa at Societe Generale will also be present to participate in a round-table organized by France Invest (the French Association of Investors for Growth).

Finally, Laurent Goutard, Head of International Retail Banking for Africa, the Mediterranean Basin & Overseas, will for his part take part in a plenary session to discuss "the financing solutions for African companies".
