Meeting client needs in complex markets.

On the occasion of the 19th edition of the “World's Best Sub-Custodian Bank Awards”, Société Générale Maroc won for the second consecutive year the "Best Sub-Custodian Bank in Morocco" award.

The sub-custodian bank acts as the agent of the main custodian for custody functions in a country where the custodian is not represented. Its main task is therefore to ensure the custody of the financial assets of a fund.

Société Générale Maroc, through its Investment Bank and Securities Department, has been rewarded for the commitment and responsiveness of its teams as well as for the quality of its services, particularly in terms of customer care.

This study, initiated by the British financial magazine Global Finance, distributed in 158 countries, aims to reward the best sub-custodian banks in 80 countries, in 7 regions of the world.

Global Finance's editorial board thoroughly reviewed market research, input from expert sources and input from banks to select the institutions that provide the best services in local markets and regions. The committee used several evaluation criteria such as client relations, service quality, technology platforms, etc.

According to Joseph D. Giarraputo – Publisher and Editorial Director of Global Finance, "With these awards, we recognise the sub-custodian banks that best meet the needs of their clients in increasingly complex markets.”
