The meeting place for tomorrow's female leaders
Societe Generale group is the official sponsor of the second edition of “Les Héroïnes” forum, the event dedicated to women’s leadership organised by Jeune Afrique. The event will be held first in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on September 25th, 2018, and then in Dakar, Senegal, on November 27th, 2018. The choice of both capitals was made as Côte d’Ivoire and Senegal embody the dynamism of women’s entrepreneurship in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Through a programme that highlights inspiration, personal development and collective reflection, the 250 managerial or entrepreneurial women from all over Africa and from all sectors (banking, finance, insurance, industry, telecommunications, etc.) will receive the tools to creative and innovative leadership.
On both days, 15 participants from Societe Generale subsidiaries - Côte d'Ivoire, Senegal, Benin, Mauritania, Togo, Chad, Guinea and YUP - also take part in the forum. They will also share their expertise and best practices to innovate on a daily basis.
On the agenda, conferences, debates and testimonies but also quality training that will allow them to identify their strengths and obtain the tools to boost their careers. Among the workshops proposed, they will have the opportunity to meet, in small groups, women leaders for a privileged time of exchange. They will give them the keys to fully live their leadership, build their personal branding, while sharing their own trajectories. By expanding their network, they will be able to acquire all the keys to manage their financial assets and optimize their budget, boost their digital presence, manage their priorities while taking a step back from their professional lives, enhance their qualities and assets, and finally display their ambitions firmly.
At the end of the day, the female Heroes (“Les Héroïnes”) of the African continent will capitalize on the lessons of the day and look to the future. The day will end with an award ceremony for the most promising entrepreneur in the region!
