The French-African Foundation aims to organise and foster the meeting of visions, projects and financings between the next generation of African and French leaders and the experienced actors of economic, political and social French-African relations.

Societe Generale is one a founding partner of the 2019 promotion, which gathered 32 Young Leaders in Paris for a week of mentoring, workshops and training, to get a better understanding of the perception of the continent by employers as well as the challenges of transforming the African economy.

During this week, the Young Leaders were welcomed by the consulting firm Deloitte for a discussion session based on a study conducted by the company and dedicated to the African private sector, around six themes: strategy, corporate governance, financing, innovation, corporate social responsibility and talent. During this session, Societe Generale tackled the major international geopolitical and economic issues with them.

On 11 July, they had the opportunity to meet President Emmanuel Macron for an exceptional moment of free exchanges between young people and emblematic personalities, whether French, African or from the diasporas.

A new gathering of the 2019 promotion of the Franch African Foundation is planned next October in Ghana, where it will focus on discovering the country's public, private, associative and media ecosystem.
