To further its commitment to women's empowerment and leadership, the <link http: www.theafricaceoforum.com en _blank>AFRICA CEO FORUM (created by Jeune Afrique Media Group) organised the Women in Business Meeting in Paris on the 2nd and 3rd of July for the third consecutive year, in partnership with ESSEC.
The event brought together 150 of Africa's most influential women from the private sector with a twofold objective: launch the first circles of influence bringing together African female leaders, and offer them a unique experience of networking and high-level personal development.

Societe Generale, partner of the event, was honored to invite Cathia Lawson Hall, Head of Coverage and Investment Banking for Africa in charge of African Sovereign, Corporates and Financial Institutions for Societe Generale, along with Yénita Bamba, Head of Corporate Business for Société Générale Bénin.

During this session, these influential leaders came together to share a strong common conviction: female African leaders are a powerful lever for transforming the continent.

This two-day-long meeting was structured around three ideas: the creation of networks of influence, high-level personal development and corporate growth.

The event was punctuated by the inspiring leaders' testimonies, customized personal development workshops as well as sectoral meetings to discuss common issues.

On September 25th in Abidjan and 30th of October in Dakar, Societe Generale will also be a partner of two events initiated by the magazine Jeune Afrique, upon female leadership in Africa: “les Héroïnes Forums”. To be continued…
