Euromoney once again recognizes Societe Generale’s expertise in sustainable financing

On the occasion of the Awards For Excellence 2024 ceremony, on July 18, Euromoney magazine awarded several trophies to Societe Generale*.
In addition to two prestigious global awards (Best Bank Transition Strategy, awarded for the third consecutive year and Best Bank for ESG Data and Technology), the magazine dinstinguished Societe Generale group's activities and commitment in Africa.
Societe Generale has been recognised as Africa's Best Bank for Sustainable Finance for the second time. This award once again rewards the collective commitment of the Group's employees in Africa and our strategy of supporting sustainable development on the continent.
Societe Generale also won the Best Bank in Côte d'Ivoire award for the fourth year running, a new accolade that illustrates the bank's leadership in its market and its unwavering commitment to its customers for over 60 years.
We are honored to receive Euromoney's “Africa's Best Bank for Sustainable Finance” award for the second time. This distinction once again rewards Societe Generale employees' commitment in providing sustainable support to our clients on the continent.
