5 Societe Generale entities awarded by the magazine.
On the occasion of its 28th annual awards for the World’s Best Banks, Global Finance has announced the honourees for 35 African countries
These awards have become a trusted standard of excellence for the global financial community.
All selections were made by the editors of Global Finance after extensive consultations with corporate financial executives, bankers and banking consultants, and analysts throughout the world.
During this 28th edition, 5 Societe Generale banks were named "Best Banks in Africa 2021" by the magazine:
- Société Générale Algérie
- Société Générale Cameroun
- Société Générale Guinée
- Société Générale Madagasikara
- Société Générale Sénégal
Objective criteria considered included: growth in assets, profitability, geographic reach, strategic relationships, new business development and innovation in products. Subjective criteria included the opinions of equity analysts, credit rating analysts, banking consultants and others involved in the industry.
