On October 18, Global Finance magazine announced the winners of the second edition of the SME Bank Awards 2023.
On this occasion, Societe Generale was awarded Best Bank 2023 for SMEs (Best SME Bank) in Africa.
Societe Generale Côte d'Ivoire and Societe Generale Cameroon were also awarded by the magazine as Best Banks for SME in the respective geographies.
Global Finance editors selected the winners based on nominations submitted by banks and independent research, with input from industry experts, on criteria, such as knowledge of SME markets and needs, scope of products and services or the ability to offer innovative solutions. The winners are the banks that best meet the specialized needs of SMEs in their markets.
These awards reward the Group's commitment to African SMEs, which is one of the 4 pillars of the Grow with Africa initiative.
