Muhub: a platform to tackle the Covid-19 crisis
News
A collaborative platform of innovation solutions made in Morocco
In March 2020, Maroc Impact and Société Générale Maroc signed a Memorandum Act and decided to join forces in an open, mobilizing and committed vision, broken down into concrete actions for those who want to do business.
The Covid-19 health crisis de facto imposes to operationalize actions with positive and emergency impacts. This is why Société Générale Maroc and Maroc Impact have decided to devote their first initiative to the creation of a collaborative platform of innovation solutions to be developed in agile mode with the help of Hacklab Africa: Muhub ("Inspiring" in Arabic).
Engineers, researchers, students, social entrepreneurs, private and public actors ... can contribute or commit together to the deployment of innovative solutions. Each stakeholder can submit a need, propose a solution and contribute in different ways.
Interdisciplinary and independent international experts study and validate the solutions proposed on the basis of predefined criteria:
- response to a problem related to Covid-19
- ability to present a prototype
- general interest of the project
- replicability and exportability potential
Muhub is above all a civic approach for action with positive impact and urgency. The platform has been duplicated in Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal with the help of Societe Generale subsidiaries present in these countries.
