Societe Generale celebrates 60 years in Côte d'Ivoire
Societe Generale Côte d'Ivoire, the first subsidiary of the Societe Generale Group to be established in sub-Saharan Africa, celebrated its 60th anniversary in 1962.
This is an opportunity to recall the importance that Societe Generale attaches to the African continent and its sustainable development. The Group's long history in Africa bears witness to this attachment to the continent, with more than a century of presence in Morocco and nearly 60 years also in Senegal and Cameroon.
